Operational Modes & Core Advantages

1. Off-Grid Power Backup Mode (Default Working Mode)

This mode applies to sites with no municipal power supply or during grid outages, realizing automatic intelligent switching of power supply to ensure continuous power for loads. Under normal solar irradiation conditions, the PV array absorbs solar energy and converts it into electric power, which directly supplies power for on-site loads while charging the energy storage battery system simultaneously. When solar power generation is insufficient due to cloudy weather, night time or weak light conditions, the 86kWh energy storage battery will automatically discharge to sustain the normal operation of electrical loads.

To protect battery service life and system safety, the system is equipped with an intelligent low-power protection program. Once the battery state of charge (SOC) drops below 10%, the system will automatically enter standby or shutdown mode to avoid deep battery discharge damage. It will resume automatic power supply and cyclic charging and discharging when solar power generation recovers, ensuring the long-term stable and safe operation of the entire system.

2. Reserved Grid-Tied & Off-Grid Switchable Mode (Future Expandable Function)

To cater to the customer’s future grid access demand, the system reserves a complete grid-tied upgrade solution. A anti-reflux meter can be installed on the AC input side of the 30kW PV inverter to realize safe and standardized grid connection of photovoltaic power. After the upgrade, the system supports automatic switching between grid-tied and off-grid modes.


In grid-tied operation, the system follows the priority rule of self-generation and self-consumption. Solar power is preferentially supplied to on-site loads to reduce municipal electricity consumption and save energy costs. In the future, according to local grid policies and customer demands, the system can be further optimized to realize on-grid power sales of excess photovoltaic electricity, creating additional economic benefits and maximizing the utilization rate of clean solar energy.
