Sano Energy has completed the shipment of 80 liquid-cooled battery energy storage containers to the United States, supporting a 40MW/401.28MWh utility-scale energy storage project in California. As one of the most competitive renewable energy markets in the country, California demands energy storage systems that deliver high safety standards, strong performance, and efficient use of space.

For this project, the company supplied 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage systems engineered with a 0.25C design and an integrated liquid-cooled thermal management solution. The systems use R513a, a next-generation, low-GWP refrigerant that complies with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements.
The successful delivery reinforces the company’s position as a reliable provider of advanced energy storage solutions and underscores its commitment to supporting the U.S. energy transition with safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible technologies.
