Yiwu Factory Energy Storage Project (Phase I)
In April, the Phase I energy storage station at a factory in Yiwu—equipped with Sanoenergy’s 2.5MW/5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system—completed commissioning and was successfully connected to the grid.
Phase I Capacity: 15MW/30MWh
System Used: 6 sets of 2.5MW/5MWh liquid-cooled storage systems

Key Functions of C&I Energy Storage
Commercial and industrial (C&I) storage differs from household storage. Its main functions include:
On-site clean energy use: Maximizes self-consumption of PV power and increases local absorption of renewable energy.
Peak-valley arbitrage: Captures electricity price differences to lower energy costs.
Backup power supply: Ensures reliable emergency power for the factory.
Project Highlights
21MW PV System + 15MW/30MWh Storage (Phase I):A classic large-scale solar-plus-storage integration project.
Phase II (Under Construction): 20MW/40MWh, for a total planned capacity of 35MW/70MWh.
Grid Access Restriction: Max access power ≤ 2.5MW.
Solution: Six 2.5MW/5MWh units enable charging during off-peak hours and discharging during peak hours, achieving peak shaving and valley filling.
Technical Advantages of Liquid-Cooled System
Protection & Adaptability: IP54 rating, designed for harsh environments.
Battery Compatibility: Supports mainstream 280–320Ah cells.
Efficiency Gains:
+14.2% pack energy density
+6.7% pack assembly efficiency (patented frameless liquid-cooling plate)
Optimized Design: Better space utilization, more stable operation.
Advanced Safety & Performance Features
✔ Precision thermal management with accurate temperature control
✔ Insulation + heat-conducting design, boosting heat exchange efficiency by 10%
✔ Multi-layer electrical protection with full-system insulation
